Fun-loving with a contagious laugh, Blanca, our Patient Care Coordinator joined our Smiles @ Southcenter Team in 2009. With over 21 years of experience in the dental environment, Blanca brings a strong understanding, compassion, and lightheartedness to your patient experience. She has had an amazing time meeting fantastic people and growing those relationships with our patients and her fellow teammates. When she is not working, she cherishes her time with her family and especially values the moments with her nieces and nephews. Blanca will always greet you with a friendly smile and caring welcome as soon as you step through our doors.

Teresa graduated in 1995 with a Dental Assisting Degree from Eton Technical Institute and shortly after joined our team. With more than 22 years of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, consistency, and compassion to your dental experience. Teresa enjoys being a part of a patient’s smile makeover because the transformation is rewarding and patients are so excited about their new smile. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters, and 2 grandchildren. She’s passionate about reading and loves being a grandma. We know you will enjoy Teresa’s fun personality and amazing clinical skills.

Dental Assisting for more than 20 years, Belinda’s experience and enthusiasm is very evident as she enjoys connecting with her patient’s and ensuring they are comfortable and well taken care of during their visits. She received her Dental Assisting Degree from Lake Washington Technical College in 1992 and has been an integral part of the Smiles @ Southcenter Team since 2010. She loves spending time with her family & friends, exercising, and cooking. Belinda is always a positive and motivated team member who constantly strives to serve our patients and give them the very best care!

Our skilled and caring dental assistant Nevan, comes from the Big Island of Hawaii, and brings the Aloha spirit to every patient experience. He completed his certification at Skagit Valley College and brings enthusiasm, warmth, and knowledge to our practice. His favorite aspect of being an assistant is integrating creativeness with the science of dentistry.

Nevan enjoys spending time at the beach fishing and diving since his favorite past time is being outdoors in the sun. We are confident you will embrace his kind demeanor as he welcomes you to be a part of our Smiles@Southcenter family.

Sydney is an amazing complement to experienced dental assistant team. Her calm demeanor and gentle nature create a positive experience and helps our patient’s gain confidence in their oral health. Sydney’s goal in the next 5 years is to travel the world and experience the people and culture of other countries. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, snowboarding on the slopes, and snuggling with her dog, Miso. We are certain that Sydney’s sincere personality and skill will make every visit in our practice a positive and comfortable one.

Jenny received her Dental Assisting Degree from Highline Community College in 1994 and her Hygiene Degree from Pierce Technical College in 1999. With over 23 years in the dental field, she has spent 18 of them with the Smiles @ Southcenter team. Jenny’s calm nature, gentle approach, and caring attitude shines through with each patient she cares for. The best part of her job is the amazing relationships she forms with our patients and being an integral part in improving a patient’s oral health. Jenny is a wonderful photographer, enjoys watching movies, reading books, and spending time with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters. We are confident that you will embrace Jenny’s knowledge, sincerity, and honest nature.

Receiving her Dental Assisting Degree from Highline Community College in 1994, Shelly went on to Pierce Technical College and achieved her Dental Hygiene Degree in 2000. Joining the Smiles @ Southcenter family in 2000, she has been thriving as a hygienist and providing meticulous care for our patients for 22 years. Shelly is passionate about her job and loves the wonderful relationships she forms with her patients and the level of trust they place in her. Shelly has a busy family life which she shares with her husband and 2 adorable girls, Sienna and Brooklyn. Her patients and our team appreciate her gentle manner, great clinical skills, and high level of integrity.

Valerie has been in the dental field for over 30 years. As one of our experienced hygienists, she is eager to help patients navigate their fears to help them proceed with the necessary treatment to achieve good oral health. She is an avid scuba diver, enjoys traveling, camping, and kayaking and is a true nature adventurist. Her goal over the next 5 years is to establish a free children’s dental clinic in one of the poorest neighborhoods in San Salvador. We are confident you will enjoy Valerie’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and friendly nature in all your interactions with her.
